Scrapbook Weekend

Today is my friend Stephanie's birthday. I hosted a crop over the weekend to celebrate her birthday. Our friends came from far and wide. Cheryl drove down from Pittsburgh PA, Katie flew home to Indianapolis from working in Boston all week jumped in her car and drove down, Glenna and Mimi drove in from Peoria IL and Chicago. Pam flew in from Maryland. It was a wild and crazy weekend! Dennis cooked and cleaned for us. It was great!

Looks What's Poppin'

If you remember back a year ago I was mowing the grass and found 3 morel mushrooms in my yard. The hubby grew up hunting morels since he was little enough to ride on his dads shoulders through the woods. Now fast forward to 2 weeks ago. Dennis and I began checking the yard for our little morel friends to come back and visit. We weren't finding any - it was a bit too early. Then one day Logan went out to hit golf balls. He called me and asked me to come out to the yard. He was standing in a beautiful patch of mushrooms. 42 were found that day all under one tree.

Easter Memories

We've been very busy around here. The boys are keeping me on my toes, and I'm beginning to appreciate all the Mom's Taxi bumper stickers that you used to see! Spring is here in full bloom. I'm enjoying the flowers and trees that are bursting full of color. And there is something else emerging from the ground in our backyard, I'll share some pictures in another post. I downloaded my memory card this morning and have lots and lots of pictures to share with you, I'll start with Easter and go backwards.

Someone please take my son to get a haircut!
