These are so easy and soooooo good! You just take a box of spice cake mix and a can of pumpkin. Mix the cake mix according to package directions and then add pumpkin. (I added chocolate chips to half of the batch and wish I would have put them in the whole batch...awesome yumminess!) Spoon mixture onto a cookie sheet. Bake at package direction heat for about 15 minutes. Here, take a look!
The boys carved their pumpkins about a week ago. They had a few friends helping them.
My Halloween candy basket ready for trick-or-treaters
How about a slice of Pizza? Isaiah wanted to be a slice of pizza for Halloween. We went to the craft store and bought craft foam and paint. We painted, cut and hot glued ourselves a delicious slice of pizza. Papa Johns donated the hat/pizza box!
We have a rule at our house, we make our own costumes with whatever we have on hand. I don't go out and buy them anymore. Halloween is about having fun and being creative. This year I only had one kid that wanted to dress up and go trick or treating. Isaiah pondered for weeks on end what his costume would be this year. Finally the night before Halloween he decided to be a nerd. We dug through the goodwill bag searching for outgrown pants and shirts. A little decorating, an oversized calculator and an old pair of sunglasses with the lenses popped out and a little tape and viola...The Math Nerd.
Go to as many friends as you want & tell them they've been "Boo-ed". Be sure to link back to my blog & don't forget to put your treat on your side bar so everyone will know. Happy Treating!!
