Fresh Pickin'

Made a trip out to the garden a.k.a. the flowerbed and picked some fresh, ripe maters this morning!

Big, Icky, Bugs

Today was a super hot day, the high was about 102 and the heat index made it feel like 114!  I went out twice to water flowers and when I started watering my tomato plants I discovered this big, icky tomato horn worm munching on my plant.

Then I noticed that he brought his little brother.

Happy Summer!

Total Randomness

Today I'm coming up for air. I've been taking fall family pictures for clients, editing their pictures, ordering their pictures, shuffling my kids to dr. appts, sports, school, church, etc. And all the while neglecting my blog. I stayed up late last night getting the last of my "work" workload done so I could work on a new blog post and cut grass and rake leaves today and take 2 kids to the dentist and watch kid #2 play football tonight. I went through several folders of pictures and gathered a variety for your enjoyment.

I'll call it

Show Stoppers

I have a love/hate relationship with my Azeleas. I love them this time of the year. They are loaded with blooms, bursting with color and a site to behold. I hate them the rest of the year. They are leggy, green and boring. Don't tell them I said this, but I want to rip them all out and transplant them out on the creeks edge and redo all the landscaping around my deck. Until then, I will sit back and enjoy their beauty and so can you!
