18 Years

It's our Anniversary!

18 years ago today the sun was shining, the fall air was crisp, the leaves were cloaked in color and full of their fall glory. At 2:30 in the afternoon I said "I Do" . Today it's a beautiful sunshiny day. The leaves are still green, however, the air is crisp and I'm proud to still say "I Do".

Happy 18th Anniversary to my wonderful husband!
I love you!

How We Celebrated

...

My absolute favorite christian artist Jeremy Camp came to town with a few friends and put on a great concert. I'm sure he knew it was my anniversary weekend! Thanks Jeremy!!
We started the evening off with a nice Italian dinner downtown with our friends Tony and Theresa. Then it was on to the show. We had 3rd row seats and it was awesome! Take a look....

This is Bebo Norman opening the show

Here we are. Thanks to the man sitting in front of us for offering to take our picture. Problem is he didn't know how to use a camera. Sigh.
Next up was Natalie Grant. Boy can this girl sing!!! Awesome!

And now onto the main event. Jeremy Camp!

It was an awesome concert! I've seen Jeremy 3 times now. The first time I saw him he came to my mom's church and sang a benefit concert with his friend, then Colt's Football player Ben Utech. I got to meet him after the show. It was like the highlight of my year!

Toby Mac

As an early Christmas present for the boys we took them down to Nashville TN to see Toby Mac's Winter Wonderslam concert. Through Toby Mac's website I got to preorder tickets before they went on sale with Ticketmaster. We had 8th row center seats on the floor. We were treated to an awesome show by Toby as well as Relient K, B Reith and Family Force Five. Of course I have pictures to share. Here you go!

Toby greeting everyone before the show.

B. Reith - very cool, beat boxing and a bit of hip hop rap. I liked him.

Family Force Five...pretty much an alternative christian metal band. The kids loved them!

Relient K

And now for Toby Mac.....

He walked out in to the crowd and sang. Very cool.

The end of the show, all the bands came out and we sang Walkin in a Winter Wonder Slam and it snowed on us!

If you ever get the chance to see Toby Mac in concert.....GO! I've seen him twice. He is very entertaining musically and the light show and dance is outstanding!!! We LOVE you Toby!
Thanks for another great concert.
